Laser Cleaning for Concrete, Driveways, Foundations & Paving

Concrete is one of the most durable surfaces around, but it's also one of the most susceptible to staining, and once oil, grease or weathering works its way in, traditional cleaning methods rarely get it out completely. Pressure washing shifts surface grime but leaves deep stains behind. Chemical treatments can bleach or discolour the surrounding concrete and are damaging to your plants. Sandblasting is messy, imprecise and strips more than you bargained for.

What we can treat:

  • Oil and grease stains on driveways and garage floors

  • Weathered and blackened concrete walls and house ring foundations

  • Smoke and soot staining on concrete surfaces

  • Paint and graffiti on concrete walls and floors

  • Rust staining from metal fixtures, pipes or fittings

Common applications:

  • Residential driveways - oil drips and tyre marks that have been there for years

  • House foundations and ring beams - weathering, and staining that makes an otherwise tidy home look tired

  • Paving and pathways - staining on block paving, concrete paths and entertainment areas

  • Garage floors - oil drips and tyre marks

  • Retaining walls - weathered, stained or graffitied concrete block walls

*Laser cleaning is not suitable for large areas of concrete or paving. It works best for small patches of contamination that water blasting cannot remove.

An honest note on concrete:

Laser cleaning works best on surface and near-surface contamination. Very deep or heavily saturated oil stains, particularly old ones that have penetrated deeply into porous concrete may not be fully removable regardless of method. Although more commonly when cleaning small areas, the laser leaves the area cleaner than the surrouding surface and we need to blend in the edges. We'll always assess the surface honestly before committing to a result, and where possible we're happy to test a small area first so you can see exactly what's achievable before proceeding with a full job.
